Wordless Wednesday | the little girl

sweetie on Mommy's shoulder

Thank goodness it’s Wordless Wednesday, because I don’t have much to say, other than:
Images like this always make me want a little girl of my own.

  1. I’m with you on this one. I want a daughter SO bad, especially when seeing pics like this…or all the cute little girl clothes at department stores. But I also think about having another baby and I wan’t to bang my head against a wall.

This seems kind of fitting with your last post…. 🙂

  2. Awwwww….when I had my son people in my family were actually disappointed. They were all hoping for a girl. My family is a bunch of jerks. My son and yours are just as cute if not cuter than little girls.

    • my grandparents have NO granddaughters… there are 7 or 8 great-grandchildren and they’re ALL boys LOL
so every time another one of us gets pregnant and has a boy, there’s almost that disappointed slouch from them when we tell them hahaha

I love boys!! Not much of a girly girl myself…

  3. I was in an elevator with my second daughter when she was less than a week old. An old lady was also there. She asked about the baby and any siblings. When she found out we had two girls she said, Ah, so this one was supposed to be a boy then.
Livid holding this perfect little person and gift from God I said, Clearly she was supposed to be a girl from her very first moment!

Each is absolutely wonderful. But I will say there is something special and unique about mothering each gender. Little boys are sweet and loving to moms in a terrific way that warms your heart. Little girls…there is something about having been one yourself. Let’s face it….I just love motherhood!

Comments make my day.... seriously!!
