The Liebster award…

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that my friend May @ Achieving Clarity named me for a Liebster Blog award. May and I have become good Bloggy Friends since I began writing about my crazy life. She is a mother too, albeit at a different stage, a devoted wife, and an avid (and improving daily!!) photographer.

This award is for blogs that show promise and have less than 200 daily followers.I am humbled and proud to accept this award, May… thank you.

I’ve been having a bit of a down time recently – mostly, I think, brought on by the stress of the holidays and the fact that I tend to get the “blues” in the winter. S.A.D. is a real illness, and I’m working hard to find some natural treatments for it.

POINT IS:
This award has made my day all shiny and bright. 🙂

In order to accept this award I must:

  • Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
  • Link back to the blogger who awarded you.
  • Copy & paste the blog award on your blog.
  • Reveal your blog picks – 5 if you can – who fit within the parameters.
  • Let them know you have chosen them by leaving a comment on their blog.

While I don’t have an overabundance of “smaller” blogs that I read, there are a few that are near and dear to my heart.

SO with no further delay….

Alicia @ I Found My Feet is another Canadian Mom who writes about being a mom, coming from a large family, as well as crafts and yummy things to bake. She is mom to little E, wife to Hubby, and embarking on the wonderful journey of pregnancy with babe # 2. She is currently doing a series of posts about her mother’s 11 – that’s right – ELEVEN – pregnancies and how things have changed since then… and ohhhh have they changed. Check her out!

Leighann @ Multitasking Mumma isn’t really an up and coming blogger… but I’ve always wanted to recognize her for having a HUGE part in my blogging debut.  Reading her words about Post-Partum Depression, the ridiculousness of the Mancold and how children make your life the most wonderful place to be inspired me to start writing… She is funny, smart and sarcastic enough to keep me happy and her soon-to-be hubby in his place.  Make sure you stop by!

Being the wife of a Merchant US Marine can’t possibly be easy. Writing about it, along with the many other things that life has to offer is one way to pass the time until your dear husband returns home from 5-7 months out to sea…  Snipewife also writes about her diagnosis with psoriatic arthritis, scrapbooking, and is taking part in a project 365! There’s some great reading here… stop by!

I’m not sure whether she has more than 200 followers, but I’m going to hand this one out anyways 🙂
Becoming Madame was truly a stumbled-upon blog for me.  I was searching “Paris” in Google and was directed to her site, which I couldn’t stop reading.  She is an American who now lives in Paris, and shares her experiences with “becoming Madame”.  Her video montages of Paris are beautiful, and she has a true appreciation for French Cuisine. Be sure to visit… you won’t be disappointed!

Take a moment, if you can, to have a boo at these phenomenal blogs and their amazing owners…

And thanks again May 🙂  It’s been a pleasure…
